BEIRUT, LEBANON (12:55 P.M.) – At least eight Iranians were killed in the Israeli attack that occurred last night in the southwestern countryside of Damascus, the pro-opposition Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) alleged this morning.

The SOHR report also claimed that the death toll from the Israeli attack had risen to 15; however, this remains unconfirmed.

The Israeli airstrike targeted the Al-Kisweh area of southwest Damascus, which has been known to have an Iranian presence in the past.

Only two deaths have been confirmed by the Syrian military thus far, but many more were feared dead after a weapons storage was destroyed last night.
