Homs, SANA – Director of Hayyan Gas Plant Assad Sleiman said that texperts and technicians from Hayyan Petroleum Company are carrying out assessment of the damages inflicted on the wells of Jazal oil field which the army established control over on Saturday morning.

Sleiman told journalists that assessments so far show that Mazwar 2 oil well sustanted damage from a bombing by ISIS terrorists, which prevents linking it to Mazwar 1 and 3 wells, adding that repairs are underway to make Jazal 1 and 3 wells operational again as soon as possible.

He added that the oil field produces between 2,500 and 3,000 oil drums per day.
