Arabia Saudita ha enviado sus tropas a Manama, la capital de Baréin, dos días antes del fallo de la corte del régimen de al-Khalifa contra el ayatolá Issa Qassem, según informó Al-Manar el viernes.

Las tropas sauditas fueron grabadas llegando a Baréin a través del Puente Rey Fahd, que conecta a los dos países.

El régimen de Baréin esta preocupado ante el veredicto emitido por el tribunal contra el jeque Qassem, puesto que prevén que se provoquen manifestaciones masivas y una escalada de violencia.

Esta no es la primera vez que el Ejército saudí entra en el país, también ayudaron al régimen en 2011 para sofocar a los manifestantes.
