BEIRUT, LEBANON (9:30 P.M.) – The Arab Parliament unanimously denounced the recent bombing of Syria by the Israeli military, while adding that they fully support Damascus’ right to defend themselves from such attacks.

“The Arab Parliament has followed with deep dismay the dangerous trajectory of escalation,” the pan-Arab legislature said in final statement after the conclusion of its third general session in Cairo Tuesday.

“The Arab people stand in solidarity with the Syrian people and the integrity of its territories against any aggression,” the Arab Parliament continued.

To conclude Levantine affairs, the Arab Parliament criticized Israel’s attempts to claim the Block 9 oil and gas exploration, adding that this area belongs to Lebanon.

To show Israel the potent Syrian capabilities was an irresponsible act of bravado. Looking at the current situation – Syria needs no second front.

p.s. Read first Clausewitz if You want to object or vote me down.
He is for example about allocating resources. Syria has nothing to spare.

BTW: I also do not feel like turning the other cheek – but sometimes it is needed and a show of strength.

LMAO!!!!! 1.) Block 9 is NOT in Lebanese EEZ! http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-xzdYhppQg1I/UJWJAkmyxCI/AAAAAAAAEgM/cej6fjxV9f0/s1600/Cyprus%2BEEZ%2Bmap%2B2012%2BFULL.jpg Lebanon has nothing to say about Cyprus EEZ! Moreover, concession has been attributed to a oint venture of Total and GazProm. If Lebanon wants to fuck with Russia and France, it’s up to them! 2.) An Iranian UAV violate Israeli airspace, the F-16 sent to take care of it is shot down by Syrian air defences and there we have the so-called Arab parliament complaining about actions that are absolutely legitimate under UN charter? 3.) “The Arab people”???? LMAO! Libya, Tunisia, Algeria and Morocco aren’t Arabs, they’re Maghrebines who ended… Read more »
