BEIRUT, LEBANON (6:10 P.M.) – The Ansarallah forces announced on Friday that their aircraft targeted several areas inside southern Saudi Arabia.

According to the Ansarallah forces, their drones targeted the operations room at Najran Airport and the King Khalid Air Base in Khamis Mushait with drones.

The Ansarallah-aligned spokesperson for the armed forcessaid: “The Air Force, with God’s help and virtue, was able to carry out a large operation this afternoon towards Khamis Mushait and Najran with a large number of (Qassef 2 K) aircraft, targeting the operations and control room at Najran Airport, arms stores and aircraft at the King’s Khalid Airbase in Khamis Mushait and other military targets.”

He added: “The aircraft hit their targets with high accuracy.”

For its part, the Saudi-led Coalition in Yemen announced, earlier today, that its forces destroyed four drone bombs belonging to the Ansarallah forces.

“This morning, the joint coalition forces managed to intercept and destroy four drones, which the Houthis (Ansarallah) launched towards the Kingdom, including 3 drones that were intercepted and destroyed in the Yemeni airspace,” said Col. Turki al-Maliki, a spokesman for the coalition forces.

Al-Maliki stressed that the coalition forces command applies and takes all necessary measures to protect civilians and civilian objects in accordance with international humanitarian law and its customary rules.

This is the second major attack launched on Saudi Arabia since the start of July.
