BEIRUT, LEBANON (2:41 P.M.) – Combined Iraqi forces on Friday liberated another district in western Mosul from ISIS, whilst also repelling a failed assault on Tal Afar military airport.

The district liberated was identified as al-Amle to the southwest of the city.

This is in conjunction to the liberation of Nabi Sheet and Oakidat districtS, which lay on the outskirts of Mosul’s Old City.

Meanwhile to the west of Mosul, the Army’s 92nd Brigade successfully repelled an attack on Tal Afar military airport.
