An American volunteer to the Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG) was killed in a battle against ISIS terrorists near Raqqa.

The Californian, also known as Kawa Amed, was killed on January 15 in Suwaydiya village in Raqqa’s western countryside, having only just joined the group on the 4th of November, 2016.

“My name is Paolo Todd, I am from California, my Kurdish name is Kawa Amed. I came to Rojava to support Kurdish people and indigenous right around the world,” the US volunteer had said in a video published on social media.

“We are going to go to the frontline, I will be in heavy weapons unit, and I am very happy to do this to support the Kurdish people and Rojava revolution, long live Kurdistan,” he said in his announcement.

Poor Yankee, Yanks have been brainwashed that they can “help the world and police the world” so much and for so long that even with the best of intentions they fail to see their delusion. He should have died shoting Mc Cain, or Killery Clitory, or so many other traitors to his own country, that would have been of way more help to the world than dying trying to kill the trash that his own corrupt govt. armed and played against Syria, but shooting McCain would have been more work, and wouldn’t have given him the hero picture by the media,… Read more »

Accepting foreigners in your ranks is somewhat wrong. It’s one thing if they were a group volunteering to help (Like the IRGC helping the SAA), but this is rather different.

Not a problem in all Anarcho or Commie movements! PYD is into social-ecology which is part of the green-anarchist movement.

SDF ain’t terrorist, they actually kill terrorists! They’re the main force against Daesh on the ground and also fight the Turkish-backed jihadists like al-Zinki, etc! They greatly helped to re-take Aleppo, BTW!
