Meir Ettinger, a far-right Jewish extremist, has been released without charge on Wednesday by israelinpolice after being in detention for nearly 10 months for his alleged role in a terrorist group that targeted Palestinians.
He was accused of taking part in an arson attack last August that burnt alive an 18-month-old boy and his parents.
So far two people have been charged with the murder.
The Shinbet, Israel’s security agency, have not provided a reason why Ettinger was released from custody.
Jamal Dajani, a spokesman for the Palestinian government, said that Ettinger “will be now allowed to roam free and put Palestinian lives in danger.”
