BEIRUT, LEBANON (6:55 P.M.) – Algeria is the latest country to issue a statement condemning the US-led attack on Syria that took place on early Saturday morning.
Algerian Prime Minister Ahmed Ouyahia stated on Saturday that his nation could only regret the strikes, adding that there needs to be more investigations into the alleged chemical weapons attack.
“Algeria can only regret the strikes,” Ouyahia told reporters.
Algeria is the second member of the Arab League to issue a statement condemning the Syria attack – Lebanon was the first.
