The evacuation of Aleppo militants has been suspended after rebel forces tried to smuggle out detainees and heavy weapons on their way out of their last enclave of east Aleppo.

According to informed sources, rebel forces breached the deal reached earlier with the Syrian government by not releasing military and civilian detainees before their departure, rather tried to smuggle them out in the green buses.

Moreover, they [militants] shelled the Al-Suqaylabiyah safety corridor and refrained from granting a safe exist to the besieged civilians of Foua and Kafraya in Iblib as stipulated in the agreement.

Thousands of fighters and their families left a small pocket in eastern Aleppo to their final destination to Idlib province through Al-Ramouseh corridor as per an agreement brokered by Turkey and Russia aimed to end the years-long fighting in the stricken city.

The breach might as well jeopardize the implementation of the deal and open the way to resume the military operation launched earlier by the government troops and allied forces to entirely retake the city.

First priority should be to reduce the pocket and this should have been done after the deal was reached. Otherwise Rebels just regroup and their main task from their masters is to delay and disrupt the process as it providers negative media campaign to continue against Syria/Russia campaign.
As long as the original area is left untouched rebels will try anything to get more Eiffel towers tributes.
Unfortunately TurkCell GSM signal was never shutdown and this still provides communication ability between other rebel pockets and outside forces.

I said it and I repeat it again. For the sake of the same people in Allepo, the Syrian army should never pause its military campaign until it completely ensured the full and accurate liberation of the city from the terrorist plague. Terrorists like their sponsors have no word of honor and will never act for the common good of people because they hate the very humanity itself. And finally they are very hurt by their defeat and loss of Allepo and by pure revenge will do whatever is necessary to sour the rich taste of the victory of Syria… Read more »

Terence : such way of doing is perfectly documented : these are the “rules” of jihad : you can find everything in Koran and Haddiths! Actually, even ISIS/Qaeda flags reproduce what is described in! Very few innovations. And even some seculars used such way of doing. When Arafat was lectured about dealing with the devil after signing the Oslo agreement, he just responded Hudaybiyyah… This peace treaty was supposed to last 10 years (I feel I recently heard about a 10 years treaty, there was some nuclear deal in…). 2 years later, surprayyyyze attack, then… Arafat waited 7 years, then… Read more »

They also plundered all money and jewelries that families left behind and set their houses on fire.

A view on the fall(s) of Aleppo by Polat Can, one of the founding members and commander in the Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG)
http://kurdishquestion.com/article/3706-the-fall-of-eastern-aleppo
VERY interesting, especially as it’s a detailed analysis with synthesis of events since 2012 and all the whereabouts, why and how.
Polat Can is likely to be a redoubtable adversary.

The jihadis just follow their western sponsors ethical values, the F.UK.US clan is known to break one treaty and deal after another, starting from ceasefires in Aleppo to reprocessing of Nuclear warheads treaty between US and Russ. There is very few things that the coallition of the backstabbers ever honoured, so no surprise when their “moderates” follow suit.
