Syria’s government forces, backed by paramilitary fighters, recaptured, today, Minyan district to the west of the Aleppo.

The imperative district was swept, yesterday, by a coalition of jihadi groups as part of a wider offensive to lift the siege imposed on the rebel-controlled areas in the city’s east.

Last Friday, a jihadi alliance led by Jabhet Fateh al-Sham (formerly al-Nusra Front) launched an all-out attack on government troops and allied forces entrenched in several districts of western Aleppo.

Loosing several positions to the Islamist rebels, the Syrian Army called on huge reinforcement to hinder the assault.

SAA must push all sides around Aleppo to create buffer zone. Make greater buffer zones and the western armed jihadis will be unable to retake Aleppo and the war made by the west will make a turn in favor of the Syrian president Assad and Syrians in general.

It doesn’t look as an offensive to break the siege but to take the whole city.
HUGE reinforcements seem to have arrived and continuous and violent air strikes are occurring.

Due to last gains, we can assume that Jaysh al-Fateh and other shithadists lost about 7 or 8 tanks, a dozen of VBIEDs and hundreds assassins (about 150-200 in direct fights but many more with air-strikes in their backyard) for…peanuts. Well, urban warfare is not open field warfare. All VBIEDs ended to be mostly ineffective but minefields are. But well, while they’re losing power, all the jihadist zones are falling around Damascus, they are losing ground in northern-Hama too… It’s always good when they attack Aleppo as the mofos leading them are irrealistic when it comes to urban warfare so… Read more »

Guys he have a point ….. hey some dude this is masdar news and with guvernment so you should expect that most of those articles are with SAA not with FSA so when SAA capture or recapture an area they will show it asap but when they lose it , like you know in the battlefield the area gains can change even before the report will come trending they will not publish it until they recapture it again . So they are technically right . Go to programs that are with FSA like maybe ( LIVEUAMAP ) they are very… Read more »
