On Tuesday morning, the National Defense Forces (NDF) – in cooperation with reinforcements from Hezbollah (Party of God) and the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) – continued their counter-offensive at Mazra’a Al-Malaah, killing a confirmed 36 militants from the Syrian Al-Qaeda Branch “Jabhat Al-Nusra” (Al-Nusra Front) at this village in northern Aleppo.

North of Mazra’a Al-Malaah, Jabhat Al-Nusra was initially successful in breaching the NDF’s frontline defenses at Bashkoy; however, they were pushed back later this afternoon.

Firefights are still ongoing between the NDF and Jabhat Al-Nusra at Bashkoy, where the former is countering the enemy combatants and pressing their way to the outskirts of Ratyan.

Jabhat Al-Nusra targeted the NDF’s positions at Duweir Al-Zeitoun, attempting to take control of western part of the village – they were repelled towards Hardatineen.

In west Aleppo, Jabhat Al-Nusra attacked the SAA’s defenses near the Air Force Intelligence building, as they tried to infiltrate past the Great Prophet Mosque.
