A total of 14 militant field commanders from groups associated with the Syrian Al-Qaeda branch “Jabhat Al-Nusra” (Al-Nusra Front), Jabhat Al-Islamiyya (Islamic Front), and the Free Syrian Army (FSA) were killed in the Aleppo Governorate over the last 10 days.

The identified field commanders are as followed:

  1. “Abu Hassan Al-‘Assabah” (Harakat Ahrar Al-Sham)
  2. ’Abdel-‘Aziz Baatabou” (Jaysh Al-Mujahideen)
  3. Mustafa Al-Saleh (Jaysh Al-Shamiyah)
  4. Malek Al-Tounisi (Tunisian leader of Jabhat Al-Nusra)
  5. Hussein Majri (Fursan Al-Khalifa Brigade of Jabhat Al-Nusra)
  6. Abu Saleh Al-Fa’ouri (Ansar Al-Homs)
  7. Hussein Ma’yyakat (Harakat Nour Al-Deen Al-Ziniki)
  8. Waleed Al-‘Areed (Al-Hayat Al-Shariah)
  9. Muta’a Al-Saleh (Liwaa Al-Ansar)
  10. Hammoud Mohammad Mohaymeed Fayaad “Abu Jadallah (Jabhat Al-Islamiyya)
  11. Bassel Faraj Al-Fada’ouss (Harakat Ahrar Al-Sham)
  12. ‘Abdel-‘Aziz Al-Ahmad (Liwaa Al-Ansar)
  13. Ahmad Taha’ Abu ‘Adi (Harakat Bayaraq Al-Islam)
  14. “Abu Bakr Al-Qouqazi” (Chechen leader of Jaysh Al-Muhajireen)
