BEIRUT, LEBANON (6:00 A.M.) – Al-Qaeda linked Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham and their allies from the Turkestan Islamic Party (TIP) and Jaysh Al-Nasr have seized several sites in the northern Hama countryside over the last 24 hours, putting them within striking distance of the provincial capital.

According to a military source in Hama City, the jihadist rebels were able to make this advance on Wednesday after they broke-through the 11th Tank Division’s main line of defense that was created around Khattab.

As a result of these gains, the jihadist rebels are now within 5km of Hama City, marking the second time in two years that they have reached this part of the province.

In addition to threatening the provincial capital, the jihadist rebels are also at the outskirts of Syria’s largest Christian city: Mhardeh.

Mhardeh is home to tens of thousands of Syrian Christians and several thousand displaced civilians from the northern Hama countryside.

It’s the bad point to have all the roaches concentrated in Idlib, thus they’re nowhere near to pack as much as power as in the Aleppo offensives. Another drawback is that too much forces have been deployed on east-Aleppo front at the same time there is a Palmyra offensive. “Why do their AF seem so inconsequential in clutch situation like this?” => It has ALWAYS been inconsequential and on all sides! Also it’s likely to have raised since, for 2016, the average number of strikes/day done by VKS (RuAF) is 71 and 35 for CJTFOIR. We’ve deployed 10 Rafales in… Read more »

The only bad point is that Erdogan has obviously given heavy ordnance.

Seems the Russian Airforce has been neutralized after the missile attack which I now am more convinced was carried out by Israel or the US not the terror squads. The absence of the Russian Airforce as from the second half of March 22nd is evident from all the videos the foreign mercenary terrorists have posted.

This article would be even better if I could stay logged in long enough to make a comment without having it be moderated and without having to use the extremely broken captcha. Yep, that would be great but it’s probably never going to happen because the idiot who runs this broken comments system clearly has so little interest in fixing it that his email doesn’t work.
