DAMASCUS, SYRIA (2:15 A.M.) – The assassination of Hay’at Tahrir al Sham’s (HTS) commanders continues across Syria- this time ,however, not in Idlib but rather in southernmost province of Dara’a.
Unknown assailants assassinated Mounir al-Muslimi, nicknamed Abu Namer Jabha, one of HTS’s most important emirs and commanders in Syria’s south.
He was the master planner behind many IEDs and assassination operations against the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and its allies in the southern province.
He was murdered when masked assailants opened fire on his car on the Rakhim-Karak Highway in East Daraa countryside instantly killing him. It remains unknown whether the Syrian intelligence or a rival rebel group was behind the assassination of the Nusra key figure.
