In recent days, the Syrian Air Forces have conducted sorties against Al-Nusra Front militants holed up in the Lebanese town of Arsal.
The town has been a hotbed for Islamists in Lebanon and the Lebanese Armed Forces have no control over it.
It is strategically located near the Syrian border and has been the site of a growing campaign to remove the militants from the town.
It has been reported that an Al-Nusra Front commander and Abu Fares Al-Jubba of the Free Syrian Army Liwa Ahrar Qalamoun Brigade, along with 9 other terrorists were killed by shelling in Wadi Al-Khayl on the outskirts of Arsal. No one is yet to claim responsibility for this action, but rumors circulating suggest it was Hezbollah.
