The Al-Qaeda franchise in Syria, the Al-Nusra Front, have downed a Sukhoi 22 jet over southern Aleppo and captured the pilot.
Southern Aleppo has been the site of a renewed terrorist offensive that has seen limited results but the breaking of the ceasefire as the Free Syrian Army have joined other terrorist forces in attacking government positions.
The Syrian Military Command however have announced that government forces and their allies will renew their offensive in southern and eastern Aleppo.
Selfie photos have already begun to be posted on terrorist social media accounts.
Videos have already surfaced on the internet of the downing of the jet and of the captured pilot.
