DAMASCUS, SYRIA (5:20 P.M)- Two airstrikes have been reported in the Gaza Strip, following yesterday’s protests in which 2 unarmed protesters were killed by Israeli sniper fire.
The spokesperson for the Gaza Health Ministry, Ashraf Al-Qedra, announced just 30 minutes ago, that three Palestinians had been severely injured by Israeli airstrikes in Al-Buriej (Eastern Gaza).
Two airstrikes were reportedly launched with the Israeli Military claiming that it was targeting Palestinians who were about to set off balloons into Israel.
A renewed round of airstrikes have been reported, taking place in al-Buriej refugee camp. Reports of injuries and deaths are yet to be confirmed.
The Gaza Health Ministry also reported on yesterday’s demonstrations, that the Israeli forces had “shot and killed two Palestinian demonstrators” and injured 65 with live ammunition, two others remain seriously injured in critical condition. The two men killed were identified as, 29 year old, Nedal Abed Alkareem Ahmed Shatat from al-Moghraga and Jehad Monier Khaled Harara, 24 years old, from Shujieya.
