Airstrikes by the US-led coalition has destroyed the water supply system in the ISIS de facto ‘capital’ of Raqqa, the so-called Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said on Friday.

The water supply was cut off in the city after the recent bombing of two bridges over the Euphrates River, the SOHR reported.

The SOHR added that an aircraft, most likely from the US-led coalition, destroyed the bridges on Thursday.

The same report was corroborated by Raqqah is Being Slaughtered Silently, a civilian journalist group.

The two bridges were the only ones that connected the northern part with the south of the city.

  1. Cortar suministro de agua es crimen de guerra según la ONU, los que van a sufrir es la población civil atrapado en Raqa. Con este comentario no estoy defendiendo a ISIS.

  2. So they bomb 2 bridges and it cuts the water supply? Seriously? SOHR must be warned about stopping with the Brewdog “Sink the Bismarck!” beer! 41° alcohol is too much for him…

Raqqah is Being Slaughtered Silently : you really ask yourself for a while if Daesh hasn’t taken over and publishes something looking anti-Daesh but actually serving their ideology as all other actors strangely end described as worst than Daesh…

    • Bridged are often used as transport corridors for electricity, heating, water, internet, telefone, dirty water and more to it.

Think You should check som facts more now and then. ISIS themselves has destroyed 2 big watertanks, where the next battle about Raqqa has started or almost has N.E. of the big irrigation channel.

Its also 4 bridges according to my knowledge about it.

So You might be cooled down Yourself being exchange student with a pinquin for some time and make many more happy when and if You come back.
