DAMASCUS, SYROA (5:57 P.M.) – Rebel forces spearheaded by the Turkish-backed Ahrar al-Sham launched a massive counteroffensive on Syrian Army formations in the area surrounding the town of Um Haryateen, which was captured earlier today by the Tiger Forces.

The attack would go horribly wrong when the Syrian Army would annihilate all the storming squads and jihadist ‘inghimasis’ destroying more than 5 vehicles including a tank, an MLRS launcher, and several armored pickup trucks optimized with anti-aircraft gun.

Ahrar’s presence in northern Hama, however, marks an important development in the ongoing war in the troubled front: Ahrar’s long-lasting and bloody feud with Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham is in a full hiatus as insurgents focus their eyes on the looming threat endangering Idlib province from the south.

Widespread rumors and statements from sharia figures like the Saudi Abdullah al-Muheisni suggest that northern Syria will soon witness the revival of ‘Jaish al-Fateh’-styled operation room created to fight back against the encroaching loyalist forces.
