BEIRUT, LEBANON (2:50 P.M.) – The Afghan Air Force utilized their first laser-guided bomb against the Taliban last week, the AAF central command reported on Tuesday.
According to the AAF report, their A-29 squadron targeted and destroyed a Taliban compound with the GBU-58 laser-guided bomb inside the town of Farah.
The attack was carried out on March 22nd and reportedly cleared a path for the Afghan National Army to advance against the Taliban.
