The Baltic Fleet (BF) will receive by the end of 2018 a carrier consisting of the Russian-made Kalibr sea-launched cruise missiles, the fleet’s press reported on Friday morning.

According to the Baltic Fleet press, the small rocket ship “Project 22800 Hurricane” will possess the Kalibr cruise missiles and s-400 systems.

“Until the end of this year, the Calibrov, a small rocket ship of Project 22800 Hurricane, will join the fleet, and in 2018, the hydro-graphic fleet will be replenished with two large hydro-graphic boats,” the report continued.

The coastal forces of the Baltic Flee will not remain without new equipment.

A set of the latest tactical missile system Iskander-M entered the missile compound.

Aviation of the fleet will continue to be replenished by Su-30SM aircraft, for which the crews of the air base have already been retrained.

The coastal missile connection near Kaliningrad conducts training with the use of new missile systems “Bal” and “Bastion”, which can effectively withstand any threats from the sea.

“And the air defense compound will receive several more S-400 Triumph complexes,” the report says.
