The Syrian Arab Army’s (SAA) Tiger Forces – backed by Liwaa Suqour Al-Sahra (Desert Hawks Brigade), the National Defense Forces (NDF), and Kataebat Al-Ba’ath (Al-Ba’ath Battalions) – have just advanced on ISIS positions in east Aleppo.

With the rapid gains made in east Aleppo, it was expected that the SAA and their allies would continue onto Al-Bab, however they made a westward push. The village of Al-Sin was liberated as the SAA continue to reconnect with the Sheikh Najjar Indusrial Zone whilst encircling ISIS around a power plant they occupy that provides electricity to Aleppo city.
