Unidentified gunmen reportedly opened fire on a group of tourists as they boarded a bus in the Egyptian capital of Cairo on Thursday morning.

Egyptian security sources said two assailants fired on the tourists outside the Three Pyramids Hotel, which lies on a road leading to the ancient Giza pyramids in the southwest of Cairo.

Currently, there is an ongoing investigation; however, security officials have not released any further details.
