DAMASCUS, SYRIA (4:45 P.M.) – At least 224 civilians were killed by US-coalition airstrikes since the predominantly-Kurdish Syrian Democratic Forces entered the ISIS-controlled Raqqa in northern Syrian approximately a month ago.

“At least 224 civilians, including 38 children and 28 women, have been killed in air strikes by the global coalition on Raqa since the SDF entered it,” the UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said.

The US-backed Kurdish forces are launching a full-scale offensive in bid to recapture the Islamic State’s de-facto capital of Raqqa.

Civilians who managed to flee Raqqa reported that besides the ones who have been killed in coalition airstrikes, ISIS snipers have also killed dozens of civilians attempting to escape the raging battles and indiscriminate bombardment.

Children shown in warfare context = propaganda, ALWAYS! Would IS had evacuated civilians, and they could do so, moreover, this is the DUTY of any fighting force according to the Hague convention, these wouldn’t had died! If civilians are still in the city, it’s in the goal to use them as human shields exactly for the propaganda purpose we have here! By not having evacuated non-fighters, IS is doing a WAR CRIME. And they already have strong records of both WAR CRIMES and CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY. BTW, al-Nusra/FSA, Hamas and even Hezbollah during the 2006 war act(ed) the same way!… Read more »

There are no ISIS in Raqqa. Only civilians. ISIS have been re-deployed to other areas of Syria by their US masters. The civilians have a right to rmain in their homes. Yet both the US and co and their proxies, the Kurds are terrorizing the native Syrian civilians with daily bombings to force tgem out of their homes to be replaced by US servile invading alien Kurds fromm all over the globe.

So Putin’s a liar about the Kurds and Raqqa?
l**o!

Now, look at reality : there are 40 millions Kurds between Turkey, Syria, Iraq and Iran.
In fact, the Sèvres treaty had already a Kurdistan on the way and if it hasn’t been done, it’s because Atatürk managed to convince the powers that be to not cut it on the map.
This is a long overdue to them and you don’t treat a people like s**t for centuries without one day having it backfiring.

As for Hezbollah and Hamas they do protect their civilians and never hode behind them like the Zionist chickens do. But the Zionist/US junta targets civilians on purpose. So do the US/Zionist proxies, the foreign SDF, FSA and co mercenary terror squads invading Syria and occupying sacred Syrian land. They target civilians on purpose for ethnic cleansing purposes.

Search about the 2006 war, with the mortar along the UN complex with refugees!
And Nasrallah hadn’t ordered to kidnap IDF soldiers then to assassinate them, no no no? Yes!
And wasn’t it Badreddine and Mughniyyah that sent a SVBIED truck with 2.5t fuel-air against the Drakar building in Beirut thus cowardly assassinating 58 of our Blue Helmets that came to stop the Phalanges from massacring the civilian Paestinians.
l**o again! IDF has the lowest level of collateral damages of ANY army on Earth
