BEIRUT, LEBANON (8:30 P.M.) – Several jihadist rebels from Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham and the Free Syrian Army’s “Southern Front Brigades” were killed by the Syrian Arab Army’s 5th Armored Division and Hezbollah in the Al-Manishiyah District of Dara’a City today.

More than 20 jihadist rebels were reportedly killed during the latter’s offensive today inside the provincial capital of Dara’a, Hezbollah Media Relations claimed this evening.

Despite some claims by the oppositions activists, the jihadist rebels of Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham did not advance in the Al-Manishiyah District nor did they kill scores of Syrian Arab Army soldiers.

Clashes have since died down since the Syrian Arab Army foiled the jihadist offensive; however, the firefights are bound to start back up, as Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham is not adhering to the nationwide ceasefire.

  • Ad hominem attacks
  • Responding to a post’s tone instead of its actual content
  • Knee-jerk contradiction

Instead, provide reasoned counter-arguments that improve the conversation.
