On Sunday, a military source has confirmed that the Yemeni Army and Popular Committees have overran four Saudi military bases and seized more than 10 military vehicles in Jizan.

The source explained that the army, backed by the Popular Committees, advanced this morning and managed to take over many strategic Saudi military bases and villages, including Mahdaf, Mamoud, Radeef, Faridha, and Zabadi.

He also added that Yemeni forces also took many sites leading towards Ma’zab and Musaffiq, with reports of many killed and injured among Saudi ranks as others also fled the battle.

This comes amidst after a strategic Saudi base Nahoukah in Najran was taken by Yemeni forces few days ago, inflicting heavy losses on Saudi forces and seizing many equipments.

The source also clarified that the Army and Popular Commitees are determined to advance to where the Saudis do not expect.
