BEIRUT, LEBANON (5:15 A.M.) – The pro-government ANNA news agency has released an 18-minute video showing the latest military endeavors of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) – including the elite Tiger Forces – in eastern and central Syria.

The ANNA news group on the ground begins its presentation in eastern Syria, following a number of different units of the Tiger Forces throughout southern Raqqa Governorate. This appears to include a howitzer unit, a mortar unit and a deep reconnaissance unit.

Near the end of the video, focus is shifted towards central Syria where ANNA points out that Syrian Army forces, backed up the Palestinian Liwa al-Quds militia, have encircled ISIS in eastern Hama. The besieged region is referred to by ANNA’s narrator as the “Akerbat [‘Uqayribat] pocket”.
