Aleppo, Syria (10:00 P.M.) – Graphic video footage has emerged revealing the outcome of the failed insurgent offensive on the populated neighborhoods of west Aleppo.
Dozens of corpses could be seen scattered around Minyan and the Dahiyat al-Assad suburb along with several destroyed armored vehicles. Over a dozen suicide bombings and thousands of rebels in the Jaish Al-Fateh jihadist coalition failed to yield any notable gains for the militants who instead found themselves immersed in the bloody quagmire of the city’s stiff defenses.

It remains unknown whether the rebel forces will continue throwing their striking force on the grinding battlefronts of western Aleppo, but unless they achieve major headway in the coming days in Hamdaniyah and New Aleppo, their long-anticipated offensive is at risk of permanent paralysis as thousands of government troops from the Tiger Forces, Desert Hawks, and Liwaa Al-Quds reportedly mobilize to initiate their own offensive in Aleppo’s rebel held districts.
