DAMASCUS, SYRIA (4:20 P.M.) – The self-proclaimed Islamic State posted sickening photos showing the execution of three militants from a rival jihadi group in the Syrian northwestern province of Idlib.
The terror group’s media wing stated that Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham militants were beheaded in retaliation of HTS attack on a secret camp for ISIS in Salqin last week.
Two days ago, the Islamic State ambushed a group of HTS and FSA fighters along the Idlib-Jabal al-Zawiyah highway, and took them to unknown destination.
However, whether the beheaded militants shown in the photos are or are not the same as those kidnapped is not yet known.
In the same context, two unidentified men wearing orange suits were found dead on a bridge near the entrance of Ariha city. One of them was found hanged while the other dumped on the side of the road; both carry a piece of cardboard with the Islamic State written on it.
