DAMASCUS, SYRIA (5:00 A.M.) – At least 17 civilians, many of whom were children, died following a US-led coalition airstrike on an ISIS-held desert village south of Raqqa city.

The American airstrike accidentally struck a school in the village of Kassrat on Sunday, both Syrian state media and the opposition group ‘Raqqa is Being Slaughtered Silently’ alleged.

The US State Department is yet to address the incident. For the most part, US spokesmen deny extensive collateral damage in its aerial operations across Syria and Iraq.

However, Amaq Agency has repeatedly released footage from both Raqqa city and Mosul suggesting scores of civilian casualties due to coalition air raids.

On Saturday, a video even emerged suggesting the US Air Force had used white phosphorous during sorties over Iraq’s second largest city:

  1. 17 syrian children??? of course, It is extremely sad when a child is killed regardless of his origin or religion, but I doubt those children are all syrian. Most of them aren’t. Raqqa, and its suburbs, are full of Isis terrorists and their families that settled this area. They came from 90 differents countries…

    • Well, I ask myself if Raqqa is Being Slaughtered Silently hasn’t been taken over by IS for a while : many of their activists were captured and killed about 1-2y ago and while seemingly staying neutral articles began to strangely shift into blaming YPG, SAA, Russians, CJTFOIR and less and less criticizing IS.
For me, IS got the accesses and using it for inception purposes.
