وصلت كتيبة الشرطة العسكرية الروسية إلى حلب قادمة من قاعدة حميميم الجوية. وسيقدم عناصر الكتيبة المساعدة للسلطات المحلية في حلب في مجال ضمان النظام وتوفير الأمن.
وذكرت وزارة الدفاع الروسية اليوم 23 كانون الاول أن الكتيبة نفذت قبل انتقالها إلى سوريا، سلسلة من تدريبات إضافية في أحد ميادين التدريب الروسية ومن ثم نقلت بواسطة طائرات النقل العسكري إلى حميميم.
ونوهت الوزارة بأن الكتيبة ستنفذ مهامها ضمن قوام مركز المصالحة الروسي العامل في سوريا وستعمل على توفير أمن عناصر نزع الألغام الروس وأمن المستشفى الميداني الروسي المتنقل وأمن القوافل الإنسانية.
