The Shari'ah Courts of Idlib that are run by the Islamist rebels of Jaysh Al-Fateh (Army of Conquest) have issued a decree that bans the delivery of humanitarian aid to the predominately Shi'i towns of Kafraya and Al-Fou'aa in the Idlib Governorate.
Under this decree, any person(s) caught smuggling humanitarian aid to the aforementioned towns will be executed by the Shari'ah Courts of Idlib.
This hard-lined stance against the delivery of humanitarian aid to the beleaguered civilians of Kafraya and Al-Fou'aa comes just one week after another convoy of humanitarian aid was delivered to the town of Madaya in western Damascus.
In addition to issuing this decree, the Islamist rebels of Jaysh Al-Fateh fired 3 indiscriminate rockets into the towns of Kafraya and Al-Fou'aa on Monday, causing material damage to a residential building in the process.
The motive behind the recent aggression against the civilians in Al-Fou'aa and Kafraya is likely due to the gains made by the Syrian Arab Army (SAA), Hezbollah, and their Iraqi counterparts in Aleppo, Latakia, Damascus, and southern Hama.
As a result of Jaysh Al-Fateh's deliberate violation of the ceasefire agreement, the Syrian Air Force has been tasked to deliver necessary humanitarian aid to the civilians inside of Kafraya and Al-Fou'aa.
