The Syrian Arab Army's 4th Mechanized Division and Hezbollah are rolling through the northern Aleppo countryside today, capturing a number of villages and farms from the Islamist rebels of Jabhat Al-Nusra (Syrian Al-Qaeda group), Harakat Ahrar Al-Sham, Harakat Nouriddeen Al-Zinki, and Jaysh Al-Mujahiddeen.
Moments ago, the Syrian Arab Army's 4th Mechanized Division - alongside Hezbollah, the National Defense Forces (NDF), and several Iraqi paramilitary units - imposed full control over the Abu Farid Farms after a violent battle with the Islamist rebels of Jabhat Al-Nusra and Jaysh Al-Mujahiddeen near the villages of Deir Jamal and Ziyarah.
According to a military source in northern Aleppo, the Syrian Armed Forces and their allies advanced to the Abu Farid Farms from their positions at the recently captured village of Mayer.
The capture of Abu Farid Farms by the Syrian Armed Forces and their allies has created a mass exodus of the remaining Islamist rebels fighting between the YPG-held town of Ziyarah and government-held Al-Zahra'a and Nubl.
Only a small contingent of Islamist rebels from Jabhat Al-Nusra and Jaysh Al-Mujahiddeen remain on the outskirts of the Al-Babili Farms near the town of Al-Zahra'a; however, they are not likely going to hold on for very long, unless they receive necessary reinforcements.
